Registration Rules
Eligibility
There are no nationality restrictions for Korean domain registration. Any individual or organization worldwide can apply. Personal registrations require valid identification, while corporate registrations require a valid business license or organization registration certificate.
Domain Format
Domain length ranges from 2 to 63 characters, supporting English letters (a-z), digits (0-9), and hyphens (-). Domains cannot start or end with a hyphen, and consecutive hyphens are not allowed. Internationalized domain names (IDN) are supported for Korean language domains.
Registration Period
Domain registration period is 1 year, renewable upon expiration. There is approximately a 30-day renewal grace period after expiration, after which the domain enters the redemption period. We recommend renewing before expiration to avoid domain loss.
DNS Requirements
